It’s almost time for the SAT! In addition, some people choose to take the ACT as well. So…what exactly is the difference between the two standardized tests?

Reading- 65 minutes
Language- 35 minutes
Math with Calculator- 55 minutes
Math no calculator- 25 minutes
Essay- 50 minutes
-each section is scored on a scale of 200-400, the total score is anywhere from 200-1600 points-reading, writing, math with calculator, math no calculator
– provides reference for basic formulas and diagrams
-writing prompt given to dissect, no opinion, fact-based-3 hours and 50 minutes
